Its largest city, Palma de Mallorca The coast with its long sandy beaches and little coves, especially Platja des Trenc, Cala Mondrágo, Cala Figuera, Cala Pi The historic towns of Alcúdia, Pollença, Sóller and Valldemossa (where Frédéric Chopin and George Sand spent the winter of 1838/39) The Tramuntana mountains and Cape Formentor The weekly market in Sineu (Wednesdays), or other local markets The monasteries Lluc, Randa and others The blooming almond trees in February

What we didn’t get to see because of rain and snowfall:

Fornalutx, a village in the mountains nominated prettiest village in Spain The area around Andratx, Banyalbufar and Alaró

We had booked Hipercar via Flugboerse and there was nothing to complain about. Except that the car has to be returned with an empty tank, which requires some foresight, but this seems to be common practice.
